Wow, we read lots of great books last month! Last night has wreaked havoc on my to-be-read pile for sure.
Shana read two of Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton books: On the Way to the Wedding and The Viscount Who Loved Me. She enjoyed Mariya’s pick, On a Quiet Street by Seraphina Nova Glass and Manhattan Girls by Gill Paul. She also read two Lisa Jewell thrillers: The Third Wife and I Found You. I’m borrowing them this month hoping I haven’t already read them and forgotten.
Hugh enjoyed Ashley’s pick, Travelers Along the Way by Amina Mae Safi. Matt is borrowing The Far Empty by J. Todd Scott. I’m looking forward to We Lie Here by Rachel Howzell Hale.
I read Stephen King’s latest, Fairy Tale (Matt is borrowing) and The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul Tremblay (Hugh is borrowing.) I also loved Becoming Duchess Goldblatt, Anonymous, and Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus (Mariya is borrowing.)
Matt read Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI by David Grann, and my pick last month, The Glass Hotel by Emily St. John Mandel.
Mariya read The Wedding Night by Sophie Kinsella and The Unhonemooners by Christina Lauren with funny annotations from the previous reader. She also read The Good Sister by Sally Hepworth and one of my recent picks, Greenwich Park by Katherine Faulkner.
Ashley read Tinman by Sarah Winman, one of Christiana’s past recommendations. I’m borrowing it this month.
Fingers crossed I can make it through all four books I borrowed last night! But, maybe I’ll have an extra week to read before next time. See everyone on November 11th!
