Last night was so much fun. I’m glad Katherine was able to join us, and of course, it was great to see Levi!

Hugh read Raven Black by Ann Cleeves, Slow Horses by Mick Herron, Survive the Night by Riley Sager, and Deck Z: The Titanic: Unsinkable, Undead by Chris Pauls and Matt Solomon. He also read Her Last Affair by John Searles which I’m borrowing this month. And we got a glimpse of his book Fadeaway Joe, soon to be released!

I read The Yada Yada Prayer Group by Neta Jackson, and Ship of Brides by JoJo Moyes. (Katherine is borrowing)

Ruthan brought The Youngest Marcher: The Story of Audrey Faye Hendricks, A Young Civil Rights Activist by Cynthia Levinson. What a gem of a children’s book! Thanks for donating some to the store, I love it.

Christiana enjoyed The Messy Lives of Book People by Phaedra Patrick. (Katherine is borrowing)

Katherine has been reading Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus, and The Marriage Portrait by Maggie O’Farrell.

Matt read Murder Your Employer: The McMaster’s Guide to Homicide by Rupert Holmes. I’m giving it a try this month.

Mariya read The Housemaid by Freida McFadden and One Step Too Far by Tina Seskis. (Ruthann is borrowing)

Ashley read two non-fiction books: A Taste for Poison: Eleven Deadly Substances and the Killers Who Used Them. and Blood and Ink: An International Guide to Fact-Based Crime Literature. (Matt is borrowing) She also read Hell of a Book by Jason Mott. She had as much luck with Night Film by Marisha Pessl as I did. Hugh is the next victim.

Shana read The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, Stateless by Elizabeth Wein, Indelible by Karen Slaughter, The Family Remains by Lisa Jewel, and Spare by Prince Harry. (Mariya is borrowing)
