We had a small group and a smaller stack of books last night. But we still had lots of laughter and good conversation. Ross and Christiana, we miss you!
Ashley re-read but did not finish The Night Circus by Erin Morganstern.
Hugh read Matt’s “unputdownable” (which I may now work into every post as a challenge) Eyeshot by No Exit author Taylor Adams. He also read a 20’s era historical fiction with an interesting author back-story, Renting Silence by Mary Miley.
Shana continued James Patterson’s Woman’s Murder Club with The 14th Deadly Sin. And she enjoyed Christiana’s pick The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary.
Mariya did some Kindle reading and is working her way through The Ringmaster’s Daughter by Carly Schabowski and it sounds really interesting.
Matt read The Lincoln Conspiracy by Brad Meltzer, (Shana is borrowing it this month) and Ashley’s pick, Gory Details by Erika Engelhaupt. He also read Winterset Hollow by Jonathan Durham… I’m intrigued (and scared) but I may have to add it to my TBR list someday.
And… I finally read a book in 2022. I loved Everyone in This Room Will Someday Be Dead by Emily Austin.
I’m already optimistically looking ahead to brighter evenings, warmer courtyard nights, and taller book stacks! See you all in April!
