Thanks for coming out everyone, it was great to see you all!
I’m still in the slump with nothing new to contribute on my own. But, I enjoyed Hugh’s pick from last month, Her Last Affair by John Searles as well as Matt’s latest, The McMaster’s Guide to Homicide: Murder Your Employer by Rupert Holmes.
Shana read another Jesse Q Sutano, Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers, The House Guest by Hank Phillip Ryan, and 21st Birthday by James Patteson. She also enjoyed Mariya’s pick from last month, The Mother-in-Law by Sally Hepworth.
Hugh took one for the team and not only made it through Night Film by Marisha Pessl (now known simply as “Bobby’s book”) but also liked it! Matt’s up for the challenge next, no pressure. Hugh also enjoyed A Man Named Doll by Johnathan Ames and Ozark Dogs by Eli Craner.
Mariya joined Shana and me in enjoying Prine Harry’s memoir Spare. She also read On the Way to the Wedding by Julia Quinn, Forever Interrupted by Taylor Jenkins Reid, and We Were Never Here by Andrea Bartz.
Ashley also enjoyed The McMaster’s Guide, as well as Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. Katherine is borrowing A Single Man by Christopher Isherwood.
Matt liked Ashley’s Blood and Ink by Joe Pompeo, and Killer Stuff and Lots of Money by Maureen Stanton.
Katherine enjoyed Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus and The Stationary Shop by Marjan Kamali. (I’m so glad!!) She brought Philosophy Made Simple by Robert Hellenga and The Huntress by Kate Quinn (Mariya is borrowing this month.)
I can’t wait to see what everyone reads next month. See you then!
