Happy 5 years to our book club!!! It’s been amazing hanging out with all of you each month and adding to my never-ending TBR list. Celebrating our group last night was extra fun.
Ashley read The Distant Marvels by Chantel Acevedo, and The Enchanted by Renee Denfeld.
Mariya read Educated: A Memoir by Tara Westover, and Copycat by Alex Lake.
Matt is still slogging through Night Film by Marisha Pessl. The solidarity is real.
Hugh read FantasticLand by Matt Bockoven
Shana read One Night Gone by Tara Laskowski. (I’m borrowing it this month.)
Christiana read Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman.
Ruthann read When McKinsey Comes to Town: The Hidden Influence of the World’s Most Powerful Consulting Firm by Michael Forsythe.
I feel confident saying I think my 2023 book slump is officially over! I finally finished China by Edward Rutherford and also enjoyed Our Endless Numbered Days by Clair Fuller (Mariya is borrowing) and The Saturday Night Ghost Club by Craig Davidson (Matt is borrowing.) I even had time to fit in Caroline Kepnes’ You and Only You on kindle!
I can’t wait to see what everyone reads in May! Happy reading!
