I’m glad we finally got a warm night to enjoy the courtyard! Luckily we missed the lightning storm. It was great to see everyone, and welcome John and Trish!

Christiana read Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, The Martian by Andy Weir, (I hope you will read Hail Mary, I know you would love it!) and The Secret Diary of Hendrik Groen, 83 1/4 Years Old, oddly by Henrik Groen? She also read The Whole Enchilada by Diane Mott Davidson and Verity by Colleen Hoover which I borrowed and read in one sitting…. hmm.

Hugh read Hard Cash Valley by Brian Panowich and Matt is borrowing The Paris Diversion by Chris Pavone.

Shana read the last of a favorite series, The Emma Project by Sonali Dev, that Mariya is borrowing this month. She also enjoyed Mariya’s pick from last month, The Escape Room by Megan Goldin, and one of mine, The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton.

John shared some interesting non-fiction with us. He brought How to Change Your Mind by Michael Pollan, and Marooned; Jamestown, Shipwreck, and a New History of America’s Origin by Joseph Kelly.

Trish shared Neil Gaiman’s American Gods, and Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel.

Ashley read The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Expurey, Nettle and Bone by T. Kingfisher, and Book of Night by Holly Black.

Mariya read Impossible to Forget by Imogen Clark and Shana’s pick from last month, One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Christiana is borrowing One Tre Loves this month.

Matt read Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulack and I have borrowed it.

I enjoyed Shana’s The Last Mrs. Parish by Liv Constantine, and Trish is borrowing it next. I also (shamefully) went down the Julia Quinn rabbit hole with the Bridgerton series, but the only evidence is one paperback, An Offer from a Gentleman and Shana is borrowing it.

Thanks so much for coming out! I can’t wait to see what everyone reads next!
