Ashely read My Sister the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite, A Touch of Darkness by Scarlett St. Clair, and The Book of Speculation by Erika Swyler. (Matt is borrowing)
Ruthann read and enjoyed The Covenant by Abraham Verghese. She is also reading a memoir by Monica Potts, The Forgotten Girls.
Christiana continued Heidi Swain’s Nightingale Square series with The Summer Fair. She also enjoyed Shana’s pick from last month, An American Beauty by Shana Abe.
Mariya enjoyed my pick, The Light We Lost by Jill Santopolo, Love and Other Words by Christin Lauren, and When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon.
I loved the books I read this month! Especially My Policeman by Bethan Roberts (Mariya is borrowing) Devil’s Chewtoy by Rob Osler (Christiana is borrowing) and Fadeaway Joe by our very own Hugh Lessig. I also read The Bookshop of Yesterday’s by Amy Meyerson, The Other Guest by Helen Cooper, and Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister.
Matt read Artemis by Andy Weir, Secret Identity by Alex Segura, and The Last Word by Taylor Adams.
Shana read We Love to Entertain, The Banned Bookshop of Maggie Banks by Shauna Robinson, as well as A Trace of Deceit and A Dangerous Duet both by Karen Oden. Ruthann is borrowing Arsenic and Adobo by Mia P. Manasala.
